The previous Poster and text dealt with anti-gun initiatives undertaken while then state senator Obama was a member of the Joyce Foundation's board. Be advised that the President's hostility toward firearms is much broader than his Joyce service indicates. The list below shows the scope of Obama's antipathy toward any device with a barrel and trigger. The referenced votes were cast (primarily) when he was a member of the Illinois State Senate. No one with the President's documented gun related record can honestly claim to support the 2nd Amendment - he must hold gun owners in utter contempt to do so. If the President continues to make pro 2nd Amendment public statements, our family has two suggestions. First, handlers should insure there's a lockable bathroom close by for unobserved laugh breaks. Second, it would be prudent to throw any friend named Geppetto under the bus with Reverend Wright.
