Poster 44's text relates that our family was unable to attend the Conference. Had we been there we would have reminded attendees that during the 2016 election the Obama Administration declared war on our Constitutional Republic. Administration officials conspired to elect their choice for president and having failed, initiated a sham Russia collusion investigation to undermine and eventually remove the newly elected president. This abortive coup is the most serious threat to the Republic since the Civil War.

A poster called "A Message to Attendees of the 34th Gun Rights Policy Conference" and its supporting text went live on 16 September. In response to the Obama Administration's attempted coup, the text argues that the primary reason for the 2nd Amendment is to validate armed resistance to tyranny from any source including a despotic federal government. From that acknowledgement the text further states that the Amendment empowers citizens to resist any attempt to confiscate firearms in common use by millions of law-abiding Americans.
