Poster 42 The Federal Background Check Scam
2019-04-01

The Democrat controlled 116th Congress introduced the "Bipartisan Background Check Act of 2019" (called H.R.8) in the first month of its tenure. On 27 February the Act became the first gun-control measure passed by the House of Representatives. It was sold as a way to control gun "sales" but the bait-and-switch Act actually deals with gun "transfers." As the Poster 42 text shows, if enacted, such a law will be an unacceptable burden on the nation's gun owners and could represent a first step toward confiscation.

WEBSITE HAPPENINGS

A poster called "The Federal Background Check Scam" and its supporting text went live on 1 April. It's our first posting in many months because of a of a house sale and subsequent move to a senior living apartment. The text uses examples to demonstrate that if H.B 8 regulations attain the force of law, firearms transactions will become so burdensome that simply owning guns will be a challenge. The Act will overturn how citizens have dealt with firearms for over 400 years. Many thanks to our webmaster, editors, and fact checkers for getting the material ready to post during Arizona's 2019 legislative session.
