August introduced the first of several "Trendline" posters. The posters depict methods progressives use to gain control of firearms. The first shows examples of how firearms and their owners are vilified in public schools as well as colleges and universities. The second poster argues that citizen disarmament is the goal of most federal and state firearms laws enacted over the last century. The third "Trendline" poster suggests that the next federal gun-control law will involve firearms registration - it looks at how registration might be implemented. The final "Trendline" poster(s) discuss methods to oppose registration including various forms of nullification and civil disobedience. The goal of Arizona Gun Talk is to have all "Trendline" posters and their text online by the November, 2010 election. We want them available in case a "lame duck" Congress attempts to steamroll major gun-control legislation through the system.

        A graphic called "TRENDLINE - FIREARMS AND EDUCATION" was posted today. The poster and text use documented examples to demonstrate educators' hostility toward firearms. Examples from public schools as well as colleges and universities are presented.
