ARIZONA GUN TALK RESUMES POSTING
2010-06-28

Several recent events have caused Arizona Gun Talk to resume posting in spite of Mac and Mary's health problems. First, we believe the recent "McDonald v the City of Chicago" Supreme Court decision will generate new pro-gun lawsuits. Today's posting is designed to support such suits. Further, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama recently said the United States will participate in UN Small Arms Treaty negotiations which could result in foreign gun laws being applied here. This posting refutes claims about the type of rifles the UN treaty seeks to control.

Arizona Gun Talk will continue to publish posters and text on a sporadic basis until the Obama administration proposes a major gun control initiative - then we will publish our extensive backlog. At present, we have fourteen new posters along with major portions of their supporting text ready to post.

WEBSITE HAPPENINGS

A poster called SPORT SHOOTING has been added to the website today. Its text refutes progressive's claims that sport-utility rifles have no sporting purpose. The poster and text demonstrate that such weapons are used by millions of citizens for recreational shooting, competition and hunting. Use of sport-utility rifles tor self-defense is discussed in the next poster entitled TOO POWERFUL.
